The Burst
Holds the shutter down. Hundreds of frames. The picture is in there somewhere.Take ten frames instead of three hundred. Make each one count.
In short
Bursts produce a lot. Your AI skill is high. You know the tools well, and you can turn out work fast and in volume. Your judgment hasn't caught up yet, so much of what you produce goes out before you've picked the best and checked it.
Where you shine
- You know the tools well. You get AI to do hard things, and you build your own shortcuts.
- You're fast. You can turn a blank page into a full draft in minutes.
- You find a way. When one approach fails, you switch tools or try another route.
- You show what's possible. People often see how much AI can do by watching you.
Where it trips you up
Volume comes easily, so choosing and checking get skipped. You ask for a lot, take most of it, and move on. It's hard to slow down when the next result is one click away.
The work looks finished and reads well, and that makes mistakes harder to spot.
The risk. A mistake reaching a client, at speed and in bulk. The more you send, the more there is to go wrong. This matters most where one small error is costly or reaches many people, such as accounting, medicine, engineering, law, teaching and design.
You in a team
You raise what a team thinks is possible with AI. Others copy how you work, which means they copy your checking habits too.
You pair well with someone whose judgment leads, like The Eye or The Catcher. You bring the output and they bring the second look.
How to level up
Your tools are already strong. Put your effort into choosing and checking.
- This week, make fewer requests. Ask for ten things instead of fifty, and choose each one.
- Before anything goes out, check the key facts and figures against where they came from.
- Decide which parts need the most checking. Spend your checking there.
- When you only half know the subject, get someone who knows it to check that the facts are right and come from a source you can trust.
People with this profile often know the tools better than anyone around them. Ask yourself:
- Do you send out most of what AI gives you?
- Has a mistake ever gone out because the work looked finished?
- Could you halve what you produce and lose nothing important?
If yes, build the habit of choosing and checking. You'll move to The Tracker, and from there The Lensmith is in reach.
