What we collect when you take Candid™, why, who sees it and how long we keep it.
Who we are
Candid™: The Human-AI Capability Profile is run by Ray & Kelley Alliance Pte. Ltd. (R & K Alliance), UEN 202625691C, incorporated in Singapore. That company is responsible for your information, and “we” and “us” in this notice mean that company.
Ray and Kelley Alliance Sdn. Bhd., our Malaysian company, runs workshops in Malaysia under licence from it. It does not hold your answers or your individual results.

What this notice covers
This notice covers candidcapability.com and the Candid™ test, including the Snapshot, the full Profile and the Team Plan prepared for an employer.
What we collect
- Your name and email address.
- The kind of work you do, and your job title if you give it.
- Your answers and your results.
- Your consent: the time you gave it, the version of the wording and the language.
- How long you spent actively on the test, and whether your answers looked rushed. We use this to judge how reliable a result is.
- The company code you entered, if you took the test through your employer.
- Technical information our service providers record, such as your IP address. See “Where your information is held”.
We do not ask for your date of birth, your identification numbers or any special category of information. Please do not put personal details about yourself or anyone else into the written answers.
Why we collect it
- To produce your Snapshot or your full Profile.
- To prepare the Team Plan, a group summary for an employer who has bought a programme.
- To match a later retake to your earlier result, so you can see what changed.
- To improve the test, after the details that identify you have been removed.
- To take payment, if you buy a full Profile.
- To send you emails about new R & K Alliance articles and workshops, if you tick the box asking for them.
Who sees your results
- You see your own full Candid™ Profile.
- R & K Alliance sees your answers and your report. The facilitator pack, which shows results by name, is seen only by Ray Ng and Kelley Liaw and is never given to your employer.
- If you took the test through your employer, your employer receives the Team Plan. It is a group summary with no names in it. No group smaller than five people is reported separately. Your name appears only if you tick “Share a short summary of my results with my company” at the end of the test. That box starts unticked.
Candid™ is a development tool. We do not provide results for hiring, appraisal or promotion, and we tell employers so before they buy.
How long we keep your information
Within ninety days after you finish the test we delete your name, your email address, your job title and your written answers. What remains has no name, email address, job title or written answers, and we keep it to improve the test.
If you asked for our emails, we keep your email address for that purpose until you unsubscribe, even after the ninety days. Nothing else is kept with it.
Where your information is held, and who handles it
- Supabase holds the database, in its Singapore region. Your finished test is stored there.
- Netlify hosts the website. Like any web host it keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses and the pages visited.
- Stripe handles card payment, once payment is live. The payment page is Stripe’s own and Stripe sets its own cookies there to prevent fraud. We never see your card details.
Some of these providers are based outside Singapore and Malaysia, so your information may be handled overseas. We choose providers that protect personal information to a standard comparable to the law here, and we take only the services described above.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone else except where the law requires it.
Your choices
- You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it.
- You can withdraw your consent and ask us to delete your information. Once we delete it we cannot give you your report again.
- You can unsubscribe from our emails using the link in any email, or by writing to us.
Write to hello@candidcapability.com. We will reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC) in Singapore, or to the Department of Personal Data Protection (JPDP) in Malaysia.
Who Candid™ is for
Candid™ is written for adults at work. It is not for anyone under 18.
Changes to this notice
If we change how we handle your information we will update this notice and change the date below. Where the change affects information we already hold, we will ask for your consent again.
